THEN & NOW

After looking through the pictures from yesterday I thought it would be fun to go back and see the difference between Chase and Alena from this time last year to now. Its crazy to see how fast these little munchkins grow and turn into "real people" and also to be able to document such important milestones in their little lives.

SECOND BIRTHDAYS

Today was a joint 2nd birthday party between Chase and Alena at Joso's play place in Creekside and there were lots of adorable little people there to celebrate and of course no party is complete without Crave cupcakes either yum yum!


What a great place for kids to play you would think right? Well the birthday boy was a little overwhelmed and spent a good portion of the party hanging out in the room with the food and more importantly Dad's cellphone!

I cannot believe another year has gone by since Chase's first birthday but here it is his second birthday already! He is no longer a baby or a toddler even, he is a full on kid and its crazy to see. Happy Birthday Chase Man.

BABY IN THE SUNSHINE

I was eagerly awaiting the time when Roman would be able to sit on his own for extended periods of time without support i.e. a photo shoot and the time has come. We took advantage of the sunshine on Saturday and went out to the field in hopes of getting some great pictures. I think I got a few keepers but mostly just got eaten alive by all the mosquitoes so our much anticipated photo op was cut short.

What a jolly little boy I have these days, hes learned how to blow raspberries and his belly laughs are amazing to listen to!

Gotta love jean short overalls and tiny baby toes. I dont know what it is about these little digits but I just want to nibble on them all day long!

ANTICIPATION

I don't usually like indoor pictures but the weather hadn't exactly been cooperating in this so called spring so we stayed inside Ryan & Denise's house instead. We took advantage of a big plain wall to get this awesome shots. Aren't they just the cutest parents-to-be?

I just cannot get over how fantastic and tiny Denise has stayed throughout her whole pregnancy, definitely one of those woman other Mom's are completely jealous of!

My favorite shot of the day, such a special moment before their little family of two becomes three (plus their fur baby) .

I lied, this is actually in a tie for my favorite shot. I just love the excitement and joy in Ryan's face.

I brought my assistant (aka Roman) to this shoot and strapped him on in a front carrier. He was quite content to come along for the ride but the stairs shots were tricky as he didn't like the bending over. I think it was worth the fussing though.

Maverick was showing the baby belly some love, I wonder what he will make of the newest addition to the Torris family!
